Last but not least blog


Like the title says this is my final blog for the school year. But that does not mean its my final one. At the start of this project i did not like it as much but as the time passed i enjoyed writing blog entry's simply because i am sharing my personal thoughts of what i think about my subjects and when i get comments saying that my blog really helped people i get happy that I can help people start there journey on the road to success. I think if you fallowed my blog from day 1 till now you now should know the basics of bodybuilding and the essential things you should be looking for when you exercise. I hope that all my website links helped you guys know and get more information about bodybuilding soon i will continue writing bout now it is not going to be the basics of bodybuilding and beginner things NO!. I will be fallowing you guys the same way you will be evolving your workout meaning next i will show you intermediate, then advanced basic training exercises. I will keep you motivated and pumped up so you can keep that workout motivation in you, i will even make a blog especially for pump up songs. And do not forget about the website bodybuilding.com that is what i used when i started working out and now i almost know everything about working out, also it keeps you posted on the latest new workouts and supplements there is. Injuries


Injuries could happen to anyone and when they do it is best for them to stop any physical exercises and seek help of a doctor right away, because if not it can lead to a permanent injury. Dont know what i am talking about? OK then for example : If you where working out your shoulders and suddenly the bone cracks but you think your alright and you wake up the next day with slight pain to your shoulder you should not ignore it since a workout or any other heavy sport injury could be serious and life threatening so the best thing would be for you to make an appointment with your doctor and have it checked out. And if the doctor thinks that taking a 1-2 week break from working will be good until it heels. You have to go with hum 100% because if you exercise the injured shoulder you will end up making it worse for yourself, it is not good to workout a injured body part. Kind of the same reason why you shouldnt workout the same body part each day, since your muscle rip when you workout and they need there rest so that they can recover from the previous workout, but if you work them out each day your muscle tissue is gonna get cut deeper and deeper and it will not recover which can lead to serious and permenant damage to the body part. And to some it means they can never gain muscle in that body part.

Gatorade Drink

Gatorade has now became one of the most known sport drinks of all time, not only because of its tremendous taste but also because of its nutritional facts and few calories that it contains. This drink was invented in 1965 by Ray Graves because he was frustrated with his players performances he made a mixture of sodium, sugar, potassium, phosphate and lemon juice. Personal Training


Personal training is a period of time that is not wasted, and a group or couple of people work really hard to achieve there goals. Meaning you do not have to workout alone you will have a personal trainer by your side that will help motivate you and encourage you to stay on your road to success. Studies have shown that having a personal trainer can bump up your results by up to 3 times, Which means you will see remarkable results in less than two weeks. Yes personal training can be a little expensive but not that expensive for example it is about 30 per month to have one at the gym you are signed up at. Just recently I and my brother have enrolled on a 1 year membership at lifestyle family fitness gym which automatically opened allot of doors or success for us, since now we have advanced in our bodybuilding chapter, we now have more access to more advanced equipment, also when we made the one year they have gave us four referrals papers each, that we can use to either enroll in special classes with a trainer and a group of inspired people or we can use them for personal training, which means me and the trainer go on a 1on1 season of workout where he shows me the proper way to use all equipment, sits me down talks to me about my goals and what i want to achieve and sticks with me till i achieve my goals. I am telling you the most effective way to get results up to 3 times faster as your buddy is, i strongly recommend you get a personal trainer.

Now i am not saying its bad to workout at home but it will save you a heck of a lot of money to workout at the gym and is better. I personally and going to sign up at lifestyle family fitness this month so i can be with people that also love working out and will help me fufill my transformation. Working out at the gym better than working out at home!


If you like working out you probobly started working out at home. If so you know that its fine to workout at home but there is several limitations to that. Personally i have and still am working out at home, ive got a little gym in my house, it has the basic needs to perfom great workouts. But as you go on meaning 6 - 12 months working out you begin to notice that you need to expand your workout utilities because you went from being a beginer - intermidiate or even advanced. Which means the basics are not enought for you to fufill your workouts and by still working out at home you are now probably bored of working out alone or with a maximum of 1-3 people, which can results in the motivation status going down, which would make you less exited to workout and in rare cases quiting to fallowing your dream of becoming great. Also because you are now in a more advanced level you need all these other utilities who can cost you a lot of money price range from 100-1000. So to save you money it is best to sign up a gym i sugguest lifestyles, and goodlife fitness, which charge arround 30-40 dollars a month on a 1 year contract, its a pretty good deal if you think about it.

Eat healthy/exercise = Long lasting life


Yes it is true, like the title says if you eat healthy and exercise you will have a longer lasting life. Dont belive me feel free to search it yourself. By searching i found that doing activity's like running working out can stop your cells and blood cells from dying which gives you a healthy body and resulting in you aging more but staying alive longer than normal humans do. Try thinking about it all you need to do to live longer and healthyer and look your best is to eat right and exercise, its so easy and yet doctors did not still invent a good medicine that slows cell deaths. This dosent mean you have to diet like you never did before and workout all day to feel n look great, no! All you need to do is watch what you eat and make smart desicions for example : (Your mind is thinking) "Should i have a mc donalds happy meal, or a subway sub?" .......... what do you think the right decision is? Subway your right because subway is fresh and the sub itself is packed with healthy nutrients that will help cells stay live and helps from getting cholesterol, diabetes and more. Simple right? I know. And as for the exercising goes you just need to workout 30minutes - 1 hour for how ever as you like for example 3 days a week or for great results 5 days a week. So lets get this straight 30minutes of working out per day and thinking wisely about what to eat would save you about 10-30 years longer of life. You gotta love that.

In my previous blogs i talked to you guys about whey protein and other kinds of protins and how you can buy it for a fair price and that it is great as a meal replacement as well as it is for athleets to developpe muscle. Energy Drinks BAD


In this century there are a lot of energy drinks out there some that are "good" and some that are "bad" this is why. There are over hundreads of energy drinks companys and flavors like monster, rockstar, redbull and much more. Personally my opinion is energy drinks are far from good for you, they are the reason why the number of people getting heart attacks and other sicknesses are rissing, since there enormous amount of sugar that is in each drink. Also because of the other chemicalls whitin. Also energy drinks do not work as well, i mean they do give you energy but for how long? 1-2hours of energy you will have then you will get even more tired then you where before you took the energy drink and you also might have a chance of getting sick. Another thing is the price of the drink i mean common 3-5dollars for one drink, you got to be kidding me. Whit at least the price of four energy drinks you can just go and get your self some all natural whey protein or vitamins that give you some energy, you can even get yourself a xl cup of coffee for 1.20$ and due to the caffeine inside you can get a tremendace amount of energy.

Chocolate milk good for workout???


Chocolate milk is great for not only kids but also adults mostly for trained athleets. I know i know you might be thinking what? how is it good for athleets? Well i will be explaining in this blog why chocolate milk is really great for athleets especially bodybuilders. First thing is that Research shows that chocolate milk is loaded with carbohydrates and protein, it helps refuel muscles, reduces muscle breakdown and rehydrates the body. Studies at Indiana University and other univerisy's show that drinking low-fat chocolate milk after exercise is just as effective in helping muscles recover as a high-carbohydrate sports drink. Gaspari nutrition is a new brand of supplements to hit the market of bodybuilding, I have seen ads of there products on the web but i was to think there products are a bunch of bull, and they do not work. As time went by i started seeing more advertisements of the brand. Then i had met a guy that was built and buff to the max, and i noticed he was buying four cans of redbull. So i couldnt help but to ask him (How did you get big, and y are you buying redbull). He replyed and told me its this new product i got and have been using called the superpump 250. I then told him how does this product work, he told me well you take it as a pre-workout supplement then when your in session of workout you will notice you have way more energy then you ever did and all that energy helps you lift double the weight you can normally lift. For example (If i could bench press 70pounds regularly, i can bench 140lbs if i take the superpump250). So i went home and did a little reaserch and i did not find any bad comments or feedback about this product i went thru at least 200 comments and they all had great things to say about this product. How it has no bad side effects exept for the taste, which is why the man mixed it with redbull. I personally did not try the product since i learned about it last week, but this friday i am going to edge nutrition to buy the supplement and i can not wait to use it. It has been said that you need to have six meals a day to maintain a healthy weight and keep your energy levels high. But these days it is hard for us to find time to make even one meal, because of our work, school, sports ect. You are always on a mouvement so you need something to grab and go,and that at the same time it is a healthy meal. What might I be talking about? yes you guessed it protein/nutrition bars . There are a lot of types of nutrition bars on the market such as protein bars, energy bars, meal replacements and more. Today i will be talking to you guys about a great bodybuilding website that is filled with good information, and that will provide you with great advice, and workout plans that will help you out even more. It also has a online shop that you can get great deals on supplements such as whey, creatine ect, and workout clothing/ accesories. It also has what they call a bodyspace that you can sign up for, for free. And what it is, is its a profile page of you that has your information and other things like what made you start bodybuilding and what are your favorite workouts/ supplements and it is basically a page that helps introduce yourself to other bodybuilding.com users, and it helps you and others see other/your workout progress and so it helps motivate them/you into working out more, and to fallowing your goals. Since you see for example : A guy that was fat then he turned skinny and gained muscle. On the site you wil also be able to chat with other people and personal trainers and you can ask them almost anything about bodybuilding and they will nicely reply. It is a user friendly website, meaning no harsh words said, and bad language. It only has great advice and good motivation. You can also sign up as a premium member and pay a small fee a month which will allow you to go beyond the line, and you will have more information to view, more 1 on 1 talk with trainers, and you will get guides and sample, and you will get the sneak peaks on what is to come out and what is new.



I personally like this site and i do use it myself, i have been a member for i belive 3-4 months now, and i go to tell you it has helped me a lot by helping me keep track of my workouts, progress pictures, goals, weight and much more things. I have learned more secrets of bodybuilding, and have made quite some friends of the site that help me out on my path to getting in shape. How to bulkup

Now in this blog entry i will show you guys how to bulk up which is almost the complete opposite of cutting down. Bulking up is used for example bodybuilders, people that are in certain sports such as mma and require a certain weight to compete in a certain category. Or just a normal pearson who wants to put on some weight. Now the bulking up phase is applied during the off season which is winter for bodybuilders. Since that is the time they have no competions to go too and can not go to beaches to show off the body's, so what do they do? they bulk up meaning they gain weight so that when the on season comes which is around, four months before summer you begin to cut down, and youll be as twice as ripped and have twice as muscle as you did before. Like the cutting phase you will need to fallow a structured diet but not the same one, you need to fallow one that will allow you to pack on weight meaning you have to have way more calories a day, and need to have allot of protein, meats, poultry ect.. You should still be exercising in the bulking phase but you will not see the defined look you had before but rather mass muscle, and muscle that is hiding under your fat. You will begin to look buffer/bigger then you really are. Then 4 months before summer you start the cutting phase and you add more cardio, less strength training, back to the weight loss diet, And you will work your self as harder as you ever did before. Then at that time you will shed all that fat you packed on, and transform 50% of it into lean rock hard muscle, and you will see all your definition/tone, you will get ripped and youll see that the bulking phase paid off big time. How to get cut/toned




In today's blog i will be explaining to you guys how to get cut, meaning getting toned and having that lean summer body everyone is looking for. First thing i want to let you know is that there is tons and tons of products out there that tell you if you use that product you will get cut for sure and you do not need to work out as much. I haven't tried these products personally but i could pretty much tell you straight up that it is all bull, The only way you could get ripped is by working hard, and being determined to acheive your goal. To get cut,ripped or whatever you may call it, takes a special kind of workout program and diet plan. In your workout plan you must implicate more cardiovasculare activities then strenght training ones, so you burn more calories and shed the extra fat. And since im guessing you already went thru that bulking up stage wich in the next post i will be talking about, would mean that you have done the weight lifting part already and have all that mass muscle under that fat so before summer comes by, say 3-4 month before, you start in the cutting phase wich means you want to add for example 3 cardio days and 2 weight lifting days so all that fat that lies over the mass muscle you got in the bulking stage goes away and all that would be left is your muscle that you can show off to the world. The workout plan is not only what you need to fallow but you also need to fallow a good diet plan, since you want to cut down wich kinda means you wanna loose weight you have to know how much calorie intake per day your body would need so you can simply find a calorie intake calculator by searching it on google or any other search engine. And all you have to do is put down your age, weight, height, gender and press calculate and it will show you three calculations 1st one would be how much calories you need to maintain your body weight, the 2nd one will tell you how much calories you need to loose weight, and last but not least the 3rd one will tell you how much calories you need to loose crazy weight, i advise you do the normal weight loss first before doing the extreme one. Below is a example of how the calorie intake calculator would look like.


So now that you see an example all is thats left for you is to type down your information, and make a good diet plan that will allow you to maintain the fat loss calorie intake for example me its 2225 calories a day so since i do workout and fallow a diet plan ive made a plan that allows me to maintain my fat loss goal, below will be my personal diet plan to give you guys a example of how you should construct your own plan. 1 other thing before i show you, you need to divide that fat loss calorie intake by 6 since you have to eat 6 times a day to make your metabolism work properly, so when you divide that you will know how much calories your body needs each meal, and if you did not know in each meal you must implicate fat, protein, carbs. Below is the diet plan example.


Breakfast : 7/9am

Carbs : 2 servings Oatmeal = 220 calories
Protein: 1 tablespoons penut butter = 100 calories
1 large egg = 80calories

= 400 calories

1-2 hours later : Protein Shake

= 300 Calories

Lunch : 11am

Carbs : Half cup of white rice = 105 calories
Protein : 1 piece of chicken, drumstick = 110 calories
fat : 1 tablespoon peanut butter = 100 calories
1 large egg = 80 calories

= 395 calories

Lunch Two : 3pm

Protein : Canned tuna = 190 calories
Carbs : Half cup of white rice = 105 calories
fat : 1 tablespoon peanut butter = 100 calories

= 395 calories

After workout (5:00) : Protein shake

= 300 Calories

Dinner : 7pm

Protein : 1-2 Meat/Chicken (100-200) Calories
Carbs : Half cup of white rice = 105 calories
Vegtables : Salad
1 apple : 80 calories

= 385 calories

Before bed protein drink

=300 Calories

Creatine


In today's blog i am going to be explaining to you guys another workout supplement called Creatine, i am going to be explaining what it is, and its advantages and side effects. STEP 1 : Begin with a loading dose. The loading dose ranges between 12 and 20 g, depending on your weight and the frequency and intensity of your workouts. The larger you are and the more frequently and intensely you work out, the higher the dose.

STEP 2: Take the loading dose in divided doses. Try for three or four times a day.

STEP 3: Continue the loading dose for five days.

STEP 4: Switch to maintenance phase after completing the initial loading dose phase. Again, the maintenance dose depends on your weight and the frequency and intensity of your workouts. The maintenance dose is between 4 and 12 g per day.

STEP 5: Take in divided doses three or four times a day.

STEP 6: Use immediately after exercising, as it will help repair your muscles faster.

STEP 7: Take for one to three months.

That is how to take creatine the right way, but there is something you got to remember when taking creatine you need to drink plenty of water so at least two gallons per day, since if you do not drink as much water your kidnees could get affected by the supplement and may lead to kidnee problems, failure.

I have not personally used this supplement, but I know people that have for some it worked and for some not as much. But before taking this supplement consult your doctor and ask him if this is right for you and if it is safe for you to take this.

I am going to be explaining to you guys the use of whey protein and the advantages of the supplement. Whey protein is a mixture of globular proteins isolated from whey, it is a liquide created by the bi - product of chese. Whey is one of the best supplements out there that is really safe and helps you either loose weight and get toned or gain weight and bulk up. Plus it saves you money, and time, so for best recovery after workouts, and for fasters results, and 100% safe i would say whey protein is the key to success in bodybuilding.

Before you begin any workout routine and start to take supplements you should know what your main goal is, for instance if you want to loose weight, if you want to gain mass muscle, gain more resistance. You may think this does not matter but belive me it does, if you workout and you do not know what your main goal is, you will not be focused on accomplishing what you desire, there for it will take you a while to start seing results and changes in your body.

A beginer bodybuilder does not start of right away with a intense workout routine and start lifting hundreads of pounds right away, if you do that it will lead to serious injurys to your muscle tissues and in serious cases you will not be able to build muscle ever again. So when you are thinking of starting your bodybuilding journey start of with light weights and work your way up trust me that is the proper way to start of.

If your doctor gives you the ok on taking the supplements start of with only protein, since protein helps you rebuild your muscle faster and gives you more energy to preform more repitions. After a couple of months you will begin to see results in your body if you are satisfied stay on the protein only, but if you want to build more muscle and have more energy then you can go in the more advanced supplements, creatine and so fourth.
