Now in this blog entry i will show you guys how to bulk up which is almost the complete opposite of cutting down. Bulking up is used for example bodybuilders, people that are in certain sports such as mma and require a certain weight to compete in a certain category. Or just a normal pearson who wants to put on some weight. Now the bulking up phase is applied during the off season which is winter for bodybuilders. Since that is the time they have no competions to go too and can not go to beaches to show off the body's, so what do they do? they bulk up meaning they gain weight so that when the on season comes which is around, four months before summer you begin to cut down, and youll be as twice as ripped and have twice as muscle as you did before. Like the cutting phase you will need to fallow a structured diet but not the same one, you need to fallow one that will allow you to pack on weight meaning you have to have way more calories a day, and need to have allot of protein, meats, poultry ect.. You should still be exercising in the bulking phase but you will not see the defined look you had before but rather mass muscle, and muscle that is hiding under your fat. You will begin to look buffer/bigger then you really are. Then 4 months before summer you start the cutting phase and you add more cardio, less strength training, back to the weight loss diet, And you will work your self as harder as you ever did before. Then at that time you will shed all that fat you packed on, and transform 50% of it into lean rock hard muscle, and you will see all your definition/tone, you will get ripped and youll see that the bulking phase paid off big time.
